Costa Rica is home to hundreds of species of bees and here at the Jungle Butterfly Farm we raise a bunch of them!

Some of these bees produce honeys known by their curative effects throughout Central America. All are considered high antioxidants.

Stingless Bees! That's right! Bees that produce honey and don't sting.

 

While they might be tiny and produce very little honey you're sure to be astounded by their unique and amazing flavors.

Many of these honeys are seasonal so be sure to inquire about availability.
